Artwork is the process by which your text, images and ideas are processed to produce film and plates for:
- a litho print job,
- an electronic file for digital print jobs,
- or large format print and signs.
Unlike design, which is an optional service we offer, artwork is a crucial part of every print job – many customers get confused with the process, saying "but I don't need any artwork". Artwork is needed to prepare your electronic file for printing, to ensure the very best quality in the finished product. In order to print your job we need to get wording typed, place images where you require them and add trim marks so our guillotine operators can cut your finished job.
It can save time and money if you want to email a Word document with your text already typed. Alternatively we are happy to type your copy for you and make any adjustments you might require. We also offer a copywriting service... copywriting@dynamicprint.co.uk
